For Students

  • ★ Placement Resources

Our Placement page has more information on mandatory non-academic requirements for placement for relevant programs of study.

  • ★ Co-Curricular Experiential Learning at Canadore College

Co-curricular experiential learning activities complement the formal curriculum but are not evaluated for course credit.  These activities are either offered through your academic program (e.g., optional Field Trip) or are made available through the broader college community.

The Canadore Volunteers program encourages students to cultivate valuable skills, strengthen resumes, build relationships, and contribute to a higher purpose through volunteerism in the community.  Students can have these experiential learning activities captured on their Co-Curricular Record.

  • ★ Riipen

Students can develop the skills they need to find a career they'll love by applying what they have learned in the classroom through completing projects for real companies and organizations. This allows them to gain employable skills and build their professional network. For more information, visit Riipen for Students.

  • ★ Centre for Career Development

Opportunities and resources are available through Canadore’s Centre for Career Development that may help students find additional experiential learning opportunities to better prepare for a successful career in their chosen profession.

  • ★ Accessibility

Canadore’s Student Success Services can provide support to students who may require accommodation to participate in experiential learning.
