Short-Read and Long-Read Sequencing Platforms
Canadore Genomics Research Hub is well-equipped with state-of-the-art short—and long-read sequencing platforms, which enable us to work with various sample types and applications in the genomics field. We have an Illumina MiSeq short-read sequencer for high-throughput analysis of DNA samples and Oxford Nanopore GridIon and Mk1C long-read sequencing platforms, which allow us to detect select epigenetic modifications and perform de novo genome assembly.
To ensure seamless workflow and precision, our laboratory is also furnished with EpMotion automated liquid handling and sample processing capabilities. These resources enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our experiments, delivering reliable results to researchers and partners alike.
Moreover, we are constantly evolving to expand our capabilities. In 2023, we are thrilled to announce the addition of a tissue culture facility, enabling us to expand our sample preparation capacity.
