What is a Gen Ed?
General Education (or, Gen Ed) is an essential and integral element of effective and comprehensive college programming. General Education strengthens students’ generic skills, such as critical analysis, problem-solving, and communication, in the context of exploring topics with broad-based personal and/or societal importance. General Education courses are designed to enhance students’ learning experiences.
