Panthers Varsity Action this Weekend

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – This weekend, Panthers varsity action will take the court on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Men’s varsity basketball will be facing off against the Centennial COLTS on Friday. Women’s and men’s varsity volleyball will take on the Loyalist Lancers on Saturday and then the Seneca Sting on Sunday.


Men’s Basketball
Panthers vs. COLTS on Friday, November 18 at 7 p.m.


Women’s Volleyball
Panthers vs. Lancers on Saturday, November 19 at 6 p.m.
Panthers vs. Sting on Sunday, November 20 at 1 p.m.


Men’s Volleyball
Panthers vs. Lancers on Saturday, November 19 at 8 p.m.
Panthers vs. Sting on Sunday, November 20 at 3 p.m.


All games to take place at the Education Centre Gymnasium, 100 College Drive, North Bay, Ont.


The Panthers men’s volleyball has put their best foot forward this season and is ranked as no. 4 in the east division of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) standings. This is the last home court advantage for the Panthers until January 2017 -- come cheer them onto third place!

Admission to varsity games is free, and complimentary hot dogs compliments of Mike and Lori’s No Frills and popcorn are served to game enthusiasts. There will be free pizza at the basketball game this week too courtesy of Topper’s Pizza.

Patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to games to help stock the shelves of Canadore College’s Emergency Student Food Bank. This weekend, the Canadore Students’ Council (CSC) will also be collecting money for the Movember Foundation fund.
