International Curling Champions Brad Jacobs and Brent Laing will be in the House at the Peter Minogue Rocks and Hearts Bonspiel

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – Co-chairs Brad Minogue and Scott Clark are pleased to announce that Olympic gold medalist
The fundraising tournament will take place January 18 – 20 and will equally benefit three local non-profits focused on the health and wellness of the community, the Canadore College Foundation, Military Family Resource Centre and North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation. Funds will respectively support student scholarships, military family support and expanded hospital services, new programs, and bring leading-edge medical technology and treatment.
The tournament is named after the late Peter Minogue, a distinguished community leader dedicated to North Bay, its businesses and economic well-being, and most importantly, its people. Minogue was a multi-talented athlete and inducted into the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame in 2008. In curling, he skipped a number of winning teams, nearly making it to the Brier on more than one occasion.
The public is invited to watch Jacobs and Laing who will play on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
