Canadore College Panther Named OCAA and CCAA Athlete of the Week

Nov 24, 2017 | Canadore College

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – Canadore College’s elite student athlete, Ashlyn Kadlecik, has been named athlete of the week by both the OCAA (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association) and the CCAA (Canadian Colleges Athletic Association).

The setter from London, Ont. contributed 30 assists in Canadore's four-set comeback victory over the Fleming Knights on November 17. Kadlecik effectively spread the ball to her teammates, with two reaching double digits in kills and another two registering nine kills each. Kadlecik also recorded three kills of her own, along with three stuff blocks and a service ace for seven points. Canadore improved to 2-4.

You can see Kadlecik on the court this weekend at the Education Centre gym.
