You should know

- Canadore students must show a valid student card when accessing the food bank.
- Students are limited to 1 bag per month, with a maximum of 3 visits per semester.
- Student Success Services is available to discuss individual situations.

To join a club please visit the Club page on our site.

To start a new club, please download the Clubs and Associations Start-Up Package and present it to the CSC Office Administrator in the Welcome Centre.

Canadore College has housing support for students which includes a great deal of information and resources such as on-campus residences, our off-campus housing listing site, and helpful tips to assist you in finding housing and avoiding rental scams.

Yes, we have virtual campus tours that can show you the areas of interests of our campuses.

The First Peoples' Centre is here to support our Indigenous students with comprehensive cultural and academic supports.

Our International Office provides support to all international students including orientation to the local community, guidance on health insurance coverage and immigration-related matters through a dedicated team of International Student Advisors.

Canadore College has an extensive financial assistance program offered to both full-time and part-time students, with approximately $1.7 million in scholarships and bursaries being awarded annually.

Entrance Awards

Open to all first year students who are residents of Ontario and are currently enrolled in a full-time program at any of Canadore College’s campuses. Entrance awards are available online between May 1 – August 31.

Bursaries

Awarded on the basis of financial need and/or satisfactory academic progress. To be considered for a bursary, eligible students must submit a detailed “Online Bursary Application” between October 1 –31.

Scholarship

Awarded based on academic excellence, attendance, and overall contribution to the classroom. Applications are available between November 1 – and the last day of the semester in December. Recipients are notified in March.

External Awards

External organizations also provide assistance to our students. Students are encouraged to apply for these external awards, scholarships and/or bursaries. Application procedures and deadlines are specific to each one of these awards, so please confirm these details prior to applying.
